Total - 2 Hours

1. Take AUTOSTRADA A1 (Green Signs)
   
2. Follow signs for FIRENZE (Florence)
   
3. 1 hour by AUTOSTRADA A1 NORTH towards FIRENZE
   
4. EXIT FABRO SCALO - then follow the signs for CARNAIOLA
   
5. FAIOLO
   
6. (Approx 1 hour) MONTEGABBIONE
   
7. MONTEGIOVE
   
8. Just before MONTEGIOVE turn left at turn off for GREPPOLISCHIETO.
   
9. Road is NOT sealed for last 4 km but in good condition all year around

Total - 2 Hours

1. Take AUTOSTRADA A1 (Green Signs).
2. Follow signs for CHIUSI.
3. Exit at CHIUSI and follow signs for CITTA'DELLA PIEVE and PIEGARO.
4. When nearing CITTA'DELLA PIEVE follow only the signs for PIEGARO.
5. Once you reach PIEGARO do not drive up to the town, but stay on the SS220 (state road).
6. Head NE. towards TAVARNELLE.
7. 1km past TAVARNELLE on the right hand side you will find indications/signs for CASTIGLION FOSCO.
8. Before reaching CASTIGLION FOSCO you will see a sign on the right for GREPPOLISCHIETO.
9. There is a kilometre of unsealed road before reaching the Hamlet.
10. After approx. 6kms you will notice the Hamlet on top of the hill. Veer left towards the parking area.

• CHIUSI STATION approximately 1 hour from ROME
  OR
• from FIRENZE on Intercity Express
  
• A car will then be necessary (45 min drive to Greppolischieto).
